The Art of Decision Making - RECAP
Thank you for joining us for our Sept Salon focused on the Art of Decision Making. It was wonderful to get the salon series revived and to see so many familiar faces as well as some new ones. As Jennifer (Beautiful) said before leaving - “This is such an incredible group of women. Everyone is amazing!” We couldn’t agree more! Thank you all for making the time to come join us and for sharing your perspectives and experiences.
For those that could not read the article, a PDF is linked here. We would love to continue the discussion and hear your thoughts after you have a chance to read it.
We hope the article and the art exploration this evening stirred some thoughts around what your aspirations are for the coming seasons of your life. And, we hope just as much, that you stay open to the unknowns along this exploration, and take those an invitations to delve into yourselves.
As the article so beautifully states - “If we couldn’t aspire to changes that we struggle to describe, we’d be trapped within the ideas that we already have. Our inability to explain our reasons is a measure of how far we wish to travel. It’s only after an aspirant has reached her destination, Callard writes, that “she will say, ‘This was why.’ ”
Here, also, is a link to the book from Annie Duke that Sava shared - “Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts”
We hope to see you all in October.
Save the date for Sunday, Oct 13 - 2-4 PM.
Stay tuned for the invite!
